We made it to 15 weeks of breastfeeding! I have spent days and nights nursing my littlest one and it has been a great experience. Lucky for me, I did not have any problems latching baby on, or having her take a bottle of breastmilk when I returned to work. I understand that not all new moms have the same experience as I didย or have the support from others to make breastfeeding successful from the beginning. That’s where “16 Minute Club” comes into play.
I had the opportunity to receive one breastfeeding subscription box fromย 16 Minute Club. If you’ve never heard of this, it is the one and only home delivery lactation support program focused to help women be successful and meet their breastfeeding goals. Each box is tailored to what stage of life you are at: pregnant or new mom that is breastfeeding. If pregnant, the box will be tailored with materials to have you set your breastfeeding goals at the hospital and at home. There is educational material included, as well as products to help get breastfeeding off to a good start. If you are a new breastfeeding mom, they will ask you how old your baby is and the box will be suited with toys/products that are appropriate for that age or developmental range. The educational material provided is very helpful and full of great advice and tips for feeding your baby and playing with them.
I worked with owner of the company and IBCLC, Wendy Wright on which box would be right for me. We chose Box #5, which is for infants who are established at breastfeeding and will be teething soon.
The educational material inside included tips on teething, nursing strikes and exercise tips for mom.
As well as the wonderful reading material, the box also contains full size and samples of products that are great for you and your little one at this stage.
I already know that the burp clothes and pacifier wipes will be of great use! And soon, my little one will have teeth and this box provides plenty of toothbrushes and toothpaste to get them off to a good start.
The box also contained a couple samples of Yogiยฎ tea and some milkflowโข chocolate milk drink that has fenugreek and blessed thistle in it to help with milk supply.
I hope that you will think of the new mommy’s in your life and perhaps gift them a 16 Minute Club box, or send one to an established nursing mom that you know. The boxes range from prenatal through a child’s first year. Who doesn’t like to receive a box of goodies in the mail?!
