Making Holiday Traditions with Shutterfly

*Thank you to Shutterfly for sponsoring this post; as always, all opinions are strictly my own

Every year I get a little anxious when I know the holidays are coming around. I know it’s supposed to be a joyous time for most, but for some people, like myself,  it means that you have to rush to get food ready for the big dinner get-together, or travel to meet up with family.

I like to say that I’m traditional, but a bit modern. I don’t need to go overboard with Christmas decorations or lights. But there is one holiday tradition that I do enjoy and that is getting family photos taken and putting them into holiday cards. This year we had a friend take a picture of our family of 4 outside of our house. And then I took some pictures of the kids indoors playing with some holiday decorations.

My go-to for holiday cards is Shutterfly. I love the ease of downloading my photos to their site to insert into my cards. They have a ton of templates to choose from or you can design your own if you choose. I chose the beautiful foil stamped holiday cards this year and I love how they turned out. They come in gold, silver, red and rose gold). This year was special to me since this is our first Holiday card as a family of four.

I love how you can personalize the cards to say whatever you want on them. The card I chose also let me insert a photo and text on the back of the card as well. I chose a funny photo of the girls to wish people a Happy New Year.

I also chose to get personalized envelopes done, that way, I didn’t have to write in my address or use stickers. To top it off, I added a special touch by ordering stamps directly through Shutterfly with our initial on them.
