I hope that you are all enjoying the start of spring! I know that we are! we have been able to get out of the house and play at the park, go to the zoo and run around our front yard again, finally! But when those April showers hit again, we stay inside and find other ways to have fun.

Just in time, we were so blessed to receive some wooden toys from Cubbie Lee Toy Company. I simply adore wooden toys because I feel like they are sturdier than most of the plastic toys we have. Believe it or not, this is actually the first train set that we have in the house! The girls have been playing with it non-stop! It was so easy to put the tracks together and the little train cars and automobile are simply adorable!

The next item is a dessert stand, which I think any child would have fun playing with. It came with an easy to assemble 3-tiered rack and a dozen little wooden toy desserts!

The fruit cutting set is really a creative and fun way to get kids involved with food preparation and presentation. All of the food items are fruits, which is a great way to get them want to eat healthy too. my oldest loves to present the foods to me on her plates- so proud of herself for knowing all of the fruits names.

I love watching my kids creativity come to life when they play with these toys. The fact that there are pieces that they have to put together (the tracks, the fruit pieces, the tier to the dessert rack), it makes playing with them much more involved. they also lean to put the toys away neatly so as to not lose any of the pieces.
