Happy New Year- Here's To 2018! -

You guys, the holidays came around SO fast!! Here we are, all ready to ring in the new year! I hope that for many of you, it was filled with joy, love and accomplishment. And for those who still have goals unfulfilled, deadlines not met, or heartbreak/loss, that the new year brings you solace and new beginnings.

I can say that 2017 was a great year for the Spaetti family. Cory started a new job, Charli started preschool, and Emmy has grown leaps and bounds. We were lucky to have my mom stay with us for almost half a year, and that meant lots of time to run, have date nights and let mom spend time with her grand babies.

I was able to do a lot of things, personally this year. I run my own LipSense business, I ran my 4th (and 5th) Marathon, and I started to go back to the gym again! I got 2 trips in that were kid-free (to San Francisco with Cory, and to Los Angeles for my high school reunion)!

I’ve been blogging now for 2 years. Every year, I learn so much more about how webpages work: codes, widgets, plugins, etc. Never did I imagine I would be constructing my own web page and writing down my stories for my friends and family to read! Every time I hit the “publish” button, I think my heart still drops a beat, hoping that the content will be read.
