We are half-way to meeting our newest family member! If you didn’t read our gender reveal post, you can read it here! As I start preparing everything I need for my sweet new bundle, I have decided to tell you guys about some of my must-have essentials for baby #3!
I know that this is going to be our third go around, but I can still tell you how important it is to have some key baby items that really helped us with our first two kids. Whether it’s your first kid, or your third, I can not stress the importance of getting everything ready before baby arrives.
Of course you will have your baby’s bed and basic clothing, but did you think about some of the other helpful products that will make your life a little easier?! Here are a few of the items I will share with you now. I will totally plan to elaborate on them more once the baby arrives!
Baby Swaddle:
To me, the baby swaddle is not only a life-saver, but a baby snuggler that helps the baby feel secure and warm. I love this Ollie Swaddle from The Ollie World. It’s made from a custom moisture-wicking material to reduce the risk of overheating. It is one size, to ease with transitional changes. The best part: the velcro backing. I am horrible at swaddling, so this makes it effortless!
Lounger/Co-Sleeper:
It gives me total peace of mind to know that my little one is close-by and lounging safely and comfortably. If you have never heard of the DockATot, you’re missing out! We have used the DockATot for as long as Emmy has been alive! What’s great is that it comes in 2 sizes: Deluxe (ages 0-8 months) and Grand (9-36 months).
DockATot is 100% cotton, handmade in Europe, and tested for breathability. It is perfect for toddler bed transitions, too! Check out this new Deluxe print called “Oh Joy”, how beautiful is that pattern?!

Binxy Baby Cart Hammock:
How genius was it for someone to invent a hammock to put on your shopping cart, to place your baby in, so that you could actually fit all of your groceries in? If you are a new parent, you’ve got to get a Binxy Baby Cart Hammock!
It fits most grocery carts and holds up to 50 pounds of weight! You can place your car seat directly onto the Binxy Baby hammock and buckle it in so that it’s secure. If your child is around 6-8 months old, up until they can sit up on their own, you can place them directly into the hammock and secure them in the straps.
Washable Room Rug:
As a mom of two toddlers, I know the importance of having fabrics in the house that can be machine washed. A rug is no exception. We have had our Lorena Canals rug for 4 years now from Charli’s bedroom, and it still looks brand new.
The beautiful prints and designs of the Lorena Canal’s rugs are so unique and sophisticated, you can tell that they are amazing quality. They are handmade using all natural dyes, and contain no VOC’s like most carpeting and rugs. Did I mention they are machine washable in standard washer and dryers?!!
We love our Docks. Parker still sleeps in hers every night! The shopping cart hammock was a lifesaver in the early days.
Definite must haves. The binxy is amazing for grocery shopping with 3 kids too. if you feel up to that
Haha I have a feeling it will be very handy!!
