We all know and love their baby carriers, but have you heard about the newest addition to the Ergobaby line of products? Say hello to the Ergobaby 180 Stroller! The moment I got it delivered to my doorstep, to my finishing time of assembling it- I had it set up in 5 minutes! I love how easy it was to assemble, how light it is (at 20 pounds) and just how easy it is to walk with!

First of all, let’s talk about some of the main features of this stroller that make it stand out from other strollers:

  • The handlebars reverse so that you can change the direction of how your child is facing
  • The sunshade is huge
  • The stroller folds up and locks in one pull

The greatest feature is that you can actually change the direction of the handlebars so that you can either push the stroller facing your child, or push the stroller with your child facing the outside world!?

I have never seen a stroller be able to do this, and I’ll tell you, it is THE best feature! Just lift the handlebar levels on each side and gently pull up and guide the handlebars to the desired position. The handlebars can also adjust for the walkers height. Since I’m short, I use it on the lowest setting.

Review of the Ergobaby 180 Stroller I love a good sunshade, and I’m all about good coverage from a stroller. I have some strollers with large shades and some with shorter ones, and I love the coverage of this one. If your child wants to take a nap in the stroller, they will be fully covered from the sun! You can also adjust the sunshade to allow for more airflow to go through but securing the shade to the back seat rest! A peekaboo window on the top of the stroller also lets you check in on your child anytime during their ride!

Here are some more photos of the stroller with the hood up and down, the handlebars reversed, and the seat reclined (to full position).  Yes, the stroller seat can be adjusted to their liking! Your child can recline (as needed)- controlled by straps that are hidden in the backside pocket. (Tip: Make sure your infant has good head and neck control development before reclining the seat.)

To fold up the stroller, all you have to do is pull up on the soft handle that is in the middle of the seat. You will hear a click, and know it’s securely locked. It is now ready to stand on its own, or lay down into your car. To unfold the stroller, there is a safety feature (a button) that you must push while lifting up on the handlebar at the same time until you hear a click. Then, you will lift up the seat backrest until it too is locked into place.

Color indicators on the side of the stroller let you know if it is aligned correctly and ready to stroll! Folding the stroller only requires 1 hand, which is nice. Always remember to set the wheels that are farthest from you into the unlocked position to swivel and steer, while the wheels closest to you should be in the locked position for best maneuverability.

If placing an infant under 3 months in the stroller, it is recommended to use the Comfort Cushion (sold separately). The stroller includes an adjustable harness that is super easy to click your child into, as well as making adjustments for your child’s height. The stroller wheels may be removed for packing or long term storage. All 4 wheels also have brakes that you can set, and locking positions for safety.
