As a family, we always enjoy taking our kids to the zoo. We try to get out to all of our favorite ones throughout the year, so that the kids can constantly be educated on animal conservation efforts. Thank you to our friends at the Milwaukee County Zoo for having us as guests yesterday, and letting us explore the beautiful grounds of this almost 200 acre park!
We have been to the Milwaukee County Zoo a couple of times, once when Charli was an infant, and another time when Emmy was an infant. Every time we visit this zoo, we leave saying how great it is. It has just enough exhibits and activities to be able to see it all in one day without being overwhelmed.
The Milwaukee County Zoo is over 120 years old and is home to over 3,300 animals and 377 species! Some of our favorite attractions were the Stearns family Apes of Africa, the Northwestern Mutual Family Farm and the Giraffes!
We were so excited to meet up with our friends who live in a nearby city. Our kids grew up together, so when they moved, we haven’t seen them much. Meeting up with all of our kids at the Milwaukee County Zoo was a perfect play date activity. The Zoo is home to many attractions and activities for kids to participate in.
Right when you walk into the zoo, you will see an enormous structure called the Sky Trail Ropes Course and Zip Line! Overhead in the park, you will see tons of people riding on the Sky Safari. There are tons of shows, playgrounds and educational talks throughout the park, and don’t miss the carousel and Safari Train ride!
How fun! I need to take my girls to the zoo soon! Thanks for the idea!
We love going to the zoo! This looks like so much fun!!
This looks like a fantastic zoo to visit. What a fun time you had.
That is one of the neatest looking zoos I’ve ever seen. Love that they have slides there!
OMG my daughter would love this place! Adding to my list!
