Toddler Room Pillows with The Paper Carousel

My daughter’s bedroom has been a work in progress since we got her a toddler bed a year ago. We’ve just been so busy and never really thought about how we wanted to decorate her room after removing the crib, rocking chair and other random baby items. I think it has finally come together now with the finish touch being a floor pillow from The Paper Carousel for her to lounge on or sit on while she reads her favorite books.

Marisol, the creator of The Paper Carousel, designs child-themed pillows and dolls that are so cute. She designs all of the prints and the items are all sewn homemade. When I told her that I had a “world themed” bedroom for Charli, she came up with this fun idea for the explorers club “World Map “pillow and a “Yeti” plush pal pillow to go with it.

What is great about these pillows are that you can turn them around and she has written the words “Have Courage and Be Kind” on the reverse side, so you can display the other side as well!

These pieces really brought the room together and now Charli has a special place to sit by her book shelf and read all of her favorite books. Toddler Room Pillows by The Paper Carousel are all 32″ in diameter so they are a good size for a child to sit on.

We have chosen to keep Charli’s room fairly simple as far as decorations. We like keeping her room tidy and free of too many toys or distractions. She knows it is her room and her quiet place. She enjoys looking at all of the maps of the world on her walls and floor and she pretends to know where we live on the maps, which is really cute. Now she can add the floor pillow to her collection!
