I made it to my 24th blog post in 24 days with just minutes to spare! It’s 11:30pm on Christmas Eve as I’m writing this last post in the series. We had family over to celebrate- and the house is all clean and everyone is in bed, except me.
We attended mass tonight, and the service was lovely. Then, we headed back to our house and cooked up some lovely steaks, my scalloped potato recipe, salad and rolls. Good wine, and whiskey were imbibed, and a good time had by all!
We decided to let the kids open up all of their gifts tonight, since it was so fun having their cousins, aunt & uncle, and grandparents all together. I think this night was as much fun for me- seeing how excited they got with each present opened.
The girls were so blessed this year. Not only by the gifts they received, but by the good company and loving environment they have. We truly have every reason to celebrate the holiday.
I have to keep this post short and sweet, as I’m exhausted and ready to go to bed. I hope that the magic of Christmas is with everyone tomorrow. We will definitely have a blessed day tomorrow watching the kids enjoy all of their new toys, while grandma and grandpa are visiting.
I know that it’s already practically Christmas day, but to all of you night owls still wrapping presents, or building Lego or doll houses, just remember: your child is just hours away from the most magical day of the year!
Enjoy every minute spent with your family because life is short, make it sweet!

Well done Kimberly Anne🌲👍
